![]() I am finally going to put in my new clutch. My 85 still has its original clutch. I got FM King Cobra. I got a new flywheel, clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch fork and cable. I got the cluthc pilot tool, all new arp bolts.
My question is, should I get a new pilot bearing. If so, any recommendations on where to get it or what brand. Another question. I heard this is a good time to replace the rear main seal. I heard that some have a 1 peice and some have a 2 piece seal. Does anyone know which it is for an 85 GT. Is there anything I am leaving out. BTW I'm doing it myself for the first time. Any tips would be appreciate. No matter how much I prepare for something I've never done before I always seem to run into something I wasn't expecting.
