![]() ok..so i think everyone was right and im not gonna go with the nitrous..seems like too much of a risk given my situation...but how bout a supercharger..they dont pose the same threats as n20 right? no melting of pistons and such...i dont know all the in's and out's of it..but ive heard that they force superhot air in yer combustion chamber unless its intercooled...and it can cause detonation..i also had a buddy that blew his head gasket like 3 times on his 89 stang..dont know why but he did...seems you can get one used for around $1k but i dunno which ones have the ceramic bearings or which ones need the tap into the oil pan(which i dont wanna do) or which ones are intercooled...this one for example seems like a great deal.. click here
im dying to just buy it and strap it on..or this even.. click here .so supposedly every pound of boost equals 14 hp..so a streetlegal 6# sc will give me 84 extra hp...that works for me ![]() |
