![]() My rack has been leaking since I bought the car 4 years ago and it is finally time to replace it. So I called Napa Auto Parts to make sure they had it in and they had several different varieties. They have racks that are performance suspention and non-performance suspention, manuel racks, he also said they are categorized by 1 bolt or 2 bolt (something like that, I don't remember exactly what he said) and lastly TRW racks. I thought all 5.0 racks were the same aside from the option of converting to manuel. Can you guys make heads or tails of all this? I figured that non-performance suspention was for 4 banger mustangs but he asked me the engine size before he gave me all the different option. But the 2 bolt/1 bolt business has me thrown off.
I was planning on doing the pump at the same time just to be thorough but is it really necessary? Thanks for all the help guys (I was gone for a few months and I get bumped down to junior member? I must have failed my senior year!)
