Post Tremec in '95-Longer Driveshaft

I recently had a Tremec 3550 installed in my '95. Everything seems fine, BUT I have read where the driveshaft needs to be lengthened by 5/8 of an inch. I looked under the car, and sure enough the stock driveshaft is on there, and you can see it is about that far out from the original wear pattern on the yoke. Is this going to hurt anything? I am looking at an aluminium driveshaft, but is it going to be the right length? I know they used the Tremec in the Cobra R, do they have a part number for that driveshaft?
