![]() Can anyone tell me anything about what a '76 Bronco 302 engine would have as far as lifter type and head ports and valve sizes? I could get a 302 out of a 76 bronco for a really nice price and am thinking of tearing it down and putting a new cam and intake on it, possibly heads. I have a set of E6 heads that I could grind the emissions bumps off of and have a valve job done on them. I was thinking if I could get a 4 barrell intake and carb and a cam that it might be a cheap motor that would run okay. What kind of cam and lifters are in that motor? hydraulic flat tappet probably? I could do a roller conversion on it and run a motorsport cam I guess. What do you guys think. Keep in mind I'm wanting to keep cost down by probably using either the 76 heads or the E6 heads I have. I don't mind getting out a die grinder and going after the heads. Which one would have bigger valves? Anyone know? Let me know what you guys think.
