Mac shifter install questions
First off the new shifter is so awesome, can't believe how crappy the stock shifer really was.
The stock inner shifter boot was trashed from several trans installed, and it tore more cus the collar of the mac shifter is larger than the stock. I am going to get a new boot, I assume Ford may be the only source other than junkyard. Any aftermarket ones with more clearance for aftermarket shifters? Also the console boot now is too large for the short shifter and bunches up. Any shorter ones available or any way to make it fit better?
