![]() I bought a used 5.0 short block from an 88 with 90k on it. I was going to use the block to build my 347 but I dont know if the block will hold up. Someone said they can stand up to 600hp but i dont know what my motor will put out. It wouldnt be a daily driver but it will definately be raced often. Im gunna list the major components i have planned and maybe you guys could help.
coast high 347 kit canfield heads (machined a little) GT-40 upper and lower (machined a little) 30#ers main girdle custom street/strip cam fuel delivery stuff crane or msd ignition 70mmtb 80mass air 125 shot no2 If you have any suggestions after hearing what im planning other than the question about the block they would be helpful too. ------------------ 90 GT, Red with white racing stripes. Did the AOD-T5 swap, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Factory sun roof and armrest delete, Pace setter off-road H pipe, Flows, Ford Racing aluminim driveshaft, Auto Meter Sport Comp Silver tach, and a K&N filter. |
