Will the block I'm gunna use take these mods............?

I bought a used 5.0 short block from an 88 with 90k on it. I was going to use the block to build my 347 but I dont know if the block will hold up. Someone said they can stand up to 600hp but i dont know what my motor will put out. It wouldnt be a daily driver but it will definately be raced often. Im gunna list the major components i have planned and maybe you guys could help.

canfield heads (machined a little)
GT-40 upper and lower (machined a little)

If you have any suggestions after hearing what im planning other than the question about the block they would be helpful too.

90 GT, Red with white racing stripes. Did the AOD-T5 swap, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Factory sun roof and armrest delete, Pace setter off-road H pipe, Flows, Ford Racing aluminim driveshaft, Auto Meter Sport Comp Silver tach, and a K&N filter.
