Jeff, here is my time slip from last friday. Tell me what you think.
R/T .603
60' 1.695
330' 5.249
1/8 8.224
MPH 82.44
1000' 10.791
1/4 12.964
MPH 103.42
There is absolutly no tire spin at all on the M/T slicks. The shifting, I'm telling you is prefect, it CAN'T get any faster. The reason I think that the slip my look funky to you is because of the driver. Most people can run a high 12 and there mph is 105, that means they can't shift fast enough, just like if I were to run a 13.5 or so with 103, it would look right, the low ET is due to the fact that the car is pulling everything it can out of the 103.49 mph. See what I'm saying?? As soon as I figure out how to get my video from the strip online I will show ya what I mean.

Here's a comparable one out of my log book, on the day that I switched to 24# injectors as a matter of fact.

60' 1.697
330' 5.245
660' 8.169
660' 80.68
990' 10.773
1320' 12.911
1320' 105.48

Actually my runs on either side of this one were 108 and 107.6 mph so this one was a little off on mph, but up through the 330' our ETs compare pretty well but then I start to pull you with the HP. But I still think that you're loosing some in the top end charge. Remember that torque gets you moving while the HP drives you out the back door. My car weighed in at 3325# on that run with unported GT-40 irons and an E303 cam with shorty headers.

I never was great on the T5; that's why I've switched over to the AOD. Get one of these cars moving into the low twelves and if you're slow on the stick like me, you start breakin' T5's.

I still say it'd be worth the try if you could borrow some 24# from someone for a few runs. You never know. If you turned around and punched out a 12.70@108+ you'd probably be kissing those injectors.

I see what your saying but there still is no need for me to upgrade yet. If I want more fuel all I have to do is turn my pressure up. Now with your 105 mph you should be running 12.50's or so. Also to let you know it's not a fuel problem when my car was bone stock in rack 13.5@100, now most people that run 100 are in the high 13's low 14's. I garentuee I could get in a car that was running a high 12 at 105 and make it run .3 or so faster. Thats the differance between drivers. You go to the track and 90% can't shift at all, no offense everyone on here... Good times are all in the driver.
