Question how much lift with stock springs?

Does anyone know the maximum cam lift stock spring can support? I am ordering a shortblock and need to choose a cam. I have 1.72 rockers and want a good size cam for when i get my new heads in a few months. I can choose from any TFS or Ford SVO cam. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help in advance!

If you have the money to buy a brand new short block you also have the money to buy new springs.Don't mess with those weaks shits.
