Default AOD to T5...?

Hey everyone... I was just pondering the idea of converting my AOD into a T-5...I was just wondering, how much do u guys think I would be able to find one for? I don't really wanna buy a new one. Where would I be able to get one, and if anyone knows roughly how much $$$ it'd cost me to get someone to put it in for me, because obviously I can't do this myself adios

I did my swap for about $200. This is with buying a cheap used T-5, and selling my AOD for a pretty good price.
I did all of the work myself with the help of a friend who has access to a lift and air tools (his work)

It's really not that hard of a swap at all. Everything bolts right up.
If you can get all your parts together and you can wait till summer you could bring it to Indy and I'll do it for ya in a weekend or so.

When I did it. I give 500 for a (what I was told to be good used tranny) junk t-5, flywheel, two stock shifters and an adjustable quadrant and cable. I give 25 bucks for the pedal assembly at the local junk yard. I did the swap, and turns out the tranny is juck. I ordered a hanlon motorsports rebuild kit for. Another 250 bucks, put that in and also installed a new clutch again. The tranny was f'ed up so bad and I didnt realize it it melted one clutch. I put it all back together and it was great. I still have the tranny for sale. $500 and she yours, That also gets you a resurfaced stock flywheel, and a clutch with 6,xxx miles.

Hope this helps. It isnt a hard swap. But i would invest in an adjustable quadrant (new) and go for it.
