![]() I talked to my performance guy and he gave me the bad news. I was all ready to get my NOS kit and install it this weekend. Well... The nitrous place that I was going to buy the kit from said that the plate system that I want will blow my trany into smitherines.... I have the stock T5 trany and it can't handle the 125 shot.

![]() That is not going to Blow the tranny if you go ez on the shifting. And with Good heads and a cam you will have a 125HP more power any But not the smae Foot Lbs IF you want it I would get it any How. If the tarnny goes out, I had mine go out before the NO2 was on and it was anew tranny too get it if you want it Just Not to much power shifting. Many poeple Have a 150 shot with the Stock T-5 It might brake ture But it might break if you do the NO2 of not.

![]() I plan on getting Edelbrock's Performer 5.0 aluminum heads, 1.6 roller rockers, and a lunati cam. I will get my heads and upper/lower intake ported and polished when I put them on. I am expecting 60hp at minimum. I think that should put me close to 400 for a total. I am going to dyno my car here in a few weeks with a some friends so I will see what my before and after HP/Torque is.
I want to get the Richmond 6 speed trany but I heard it costs a few G's. I might settle for the TKO trany. |

![]() I was planning on getting the Nitrous Xpress wet system. It is adjustilbe, and has a plate system that goes between the upper and lower. I was also going to get a purge kit, bottle warmer, and safty loop (just incase if the pressure gets to high). It comes with a 10lb bottle. This kit can go up to 300 but I would only set it at 125. I wanted this kit so I don't have to buy new stuff for future upgrades.

![]() My 1991 T-5 that I've had in for 2 years now, has seen my 125hp shot many times, I've also got heads, cam, intake, etc. I've never launched it on slicks on the juice just because I know I would grenade it. The most I've done is 2nd gear on drag radials, and they just spun like well, you get the idea. Make sure that your tranny is in good condition, have a backup ready, and get the juice. Saving up for a TKO is a good idea too. That's what I'm doing.

![]() I personally don't spray (as of right now), but I know that ED1371 sprays a 150 shot on a pretty much stock vert. He may be able to help you out as well.
