Post TPS ? (again-sorry)

I just checked my TPS voltage and resistance, and I think it is arse-backwards...just sitting there, harness unplugged, the resistance on the two lower pins is high, and goes down smoothly as the TB plate opens. BUT the voltage on those pins, KOEO is 4.36vdc closed, and WOT it is at like .48 vdc . can this be right? I always read that it should be around .98 KOEO, and in the 4v at WOT.

all i've ever done to tune the tps is left it all plugged up, and just pinned the wire. Turn the car on to run position and then tune. I understand what your doing, but I don't know why......

I am with you on the WHY part...from my other posts, I am trying to get to some engine problems. Something is way wrong, but no codes. So I am checking each sensor/connector in the bay. I was probing the wrong wire, had on vref instead of signal. get .956 to 4.68, all is good.
