![]() ARP's Threadsealer is the best there is, IMHO, and should be used on all head bolts, as well as timing cover/water pump bolts. I also use anti-seize on anything that threads into aluminum. depending on which gaskets you use, I would also recommend copper gasket spray for the head/block mating surface. RTV for the intake end seals. I don't use threadlocker very often, but when I do, I either use Loctite 271 (red) or 242 (blue). ARP assembly lube everywhere, but don't forget to change the oil & filter within a couple hours of operation. Vasoline in the oil pump. Straight water in the cooling system for the first 100 miles, then flush and fill 20% coolant, 80% water.
