			 Not really, especially after you do a close inspection of the two. The GT-40 has a REALLY small cross section in the plenum, where the air has got to make the 180 degree turn before entering the runners.  I think this is the real restriction in the GT-40. The cross section of the Explorer is much broader here, allowing the plenum to fill smoothly and hence feed the runners smoothly.
