I have the original type Ford Motorsports clutch,(B-302??) nice for a daily driver, the pedal effort is quite a bit more than the standard clutch it had previously. The king Cobra is supposed to have nearly the same holding power with less effort. No mods were required, I put a new clutch cable in for good measure along with a new motorsports flywheel.
After reading the other posts, I would save up for the heavy duty centerforce unit and maybe a SFI bellhousing and flywheel for your projected low to mid 11 ET's Better safe than watch your flywheel rip through your floorpan and take your jewls off ![]() ------------------ Frank W 90 5.0 LX coupe Daily driver.
