I was going to say the same thing as spinemup. It sounds like you might have a bent pushrod.

My rockers are adjustable. I don't need to shim them. They have adjusting nuts over the pushrod that you use to set the lifter preload.

I just wanted to say that the smoke has gone away, the noise has gone away other than the noise inside the intake which I was told was normal, so I think she's gonna be all right. I'll get some track times posted Saturday evening. Thanks guys =)

Well, I just got her timed and got the TPS and idle set. What a difference! I guess I can't time by ear very good

I went for a short drive and slowed down to about 25mph at the local burnout strip and let her loose and it caught a really good posi for the first time since I've owned the car. It laid the car sideways in the road and really made these tires squeal! Wow.

I'd recommend the F303 cam to anyone with a setup similar to mine. The car has a nice lopey idle and plenty of power from the low end up to 6000rpm and probably more.
