The stock rad tanks can be fitted with 3 cores (I did this)... I don't think there's room for the 4th (you'd need different tanks).

It's tough to diagnose when you don't know the history.

If you've still got the stock water pump, it probably about shot. I HIGHLY recommend the www.stewartcomponents.com pump.

If it's got the stock catalytic converters, they could be getting pretty clogged. This would really heat it up.

If you get a 93+ starter (mini/perm-magnet), you'll be able to start it when it's hot... but you really gotta fix the problem.

Also, check the timing... should be around 10-12 degrees BTDC.

i had a really bad overheating problem when i put pulley's on the car, now i have an electic fan, 180 thermostat, and a ron davis 4 core aluminum radiator and heat is a thing of the past. I agree with the solution to get another radiator, also what letter is the gauge on in NORMAL mine is at the L and no higher. my two cents.

Well, yesturday I drove it to a town 30 minutes away, then home. The temperature never got high, it only got as high as the A, and never got any higher on the NORMAL. I guess all I needed was a radiator cap. Although eventually I will get a good aftermarket radiator, as of right now since I am digging myself deeper and deeper in debt, I will stick with the one I have as long as this one is keeping my engine cool.

Thank you all for your help,
Zach Herbst
