X-pipes like freeflowing exhausts. The free-er, the better they work. So IMOHO, if you slow down the flow with tailpipes (even 2.5") you'll noticec a drop in power. How much, I dont know. If you do the tailpipes for noise, then be comfortable...
My side-exit exhausts are dyno-proven to lose hp, but thats the way I'm gonna run it cause I hate dumps, and the rear suspension wont allow for tailpipes.
