New Engine
Has anyone bought a motor from Central Coast Mustang? I was thinking of buying the 302GT 40P long block, the one for $1895. It claims to make 320 HP. Has anyone had any encounter with this particular engine, good or bad? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

A buddy of mine is waiting on a 347 short block from them. You should be just fine. I'll let you know if he has any problems.
As far as the 320 hp rating, I believe that's with a carb, so expect it to vary with the EFI. My guess is that with EFI, it will be a little bit less. --nathan ------------------ --silver_pilate '91 GT, Built 306, Wolverine 1087 cam, ported Windsor Jr. Irons, and all the goodies...click the link to the left to see a full list of my mods...
