Real Bad News =(

first i F***ED up my clutch... supposily that was it... i found out today i need the flywheel (200 more) and the pilot bearing ... i just spent 300, plus gona b another like 250-300 for installtion..now i got more to spend and i'm broke, but anyways..

which flywheel should i get? I'm trying to have my car done tmorrow so i need to buy it asap... i was thinking about the stock flywheel... does it matter? or should i order a steel one? ($290)

Unless you are getting a check for $3000 to spend on other speed parts you can stay with the $89 stock flywheel

With your mods (and no cash) I would stick with a stocker...

If you need it done asap, then buy a new one and pay to have it installed.
If you can wait, post a wanted ad, and get one for 1/2 price (shipping included) and then install it yourself. Its hard, but not _that_ hard to install...

I would stick with the stocker in your application.

Also, if your somewhat mechanically inclined, use this weekend to install the everything yourself. Have a friend come over to help and you're set. As drudis said, its really not that hard. You just need some patience and elbow grease.

Where in Cali are you located? If worst comes to worst, I'll fix it for ya if it's not too far away. No need to waste money by paying someone by the hour to do the same job you and I could do.

I paid,

Less than $200.00 for Ford racing clutch
and $185.00 for installation, and that included getting my flywheel surfaced.

Your prices sound really high to me.

I got my car back today, same flywheel...it wasn't that bad afterall... I paid a total of $315, 225 for clutch labor, 35 for resurface, 25 for trans-motor seal, 9 for pilot bearing, 20 for flywheel shim... or so... my clutch feels really wierd... its more soft to press and stuff but feels more sensative, i barley take out my foot and its already shaking cuz not enough gas (il'l get use to it and get the feel)

nitrous, i prob wont b able to race this week cuz i need to rack up 500-600 miles before i can drive hard...so well see...
