Tell me something: how does a 17 year old afford the insurance on a Mustang Cobra?

I had to be 26 and married before I even dared buy my car
And that was with a perfect driving record.

Of course some states are different........I carry alot of insurance on my cars, so that hurts a bit. Still....

There was one kid in our high school who drove a Delorean....the occasional hot-rod ehre and there, but nobody was driving a new Mustang or Camaro. I had a Chevy Chevette

AND I WAS DAMN HAPPY TO HAVE IT TOO! I got to make fun of my buddy who drove his mom's Pontiac T-1000
Hey...it was the sports package, man! Custom sunroof..custom stereo...and a 1.6 liter Briggs and Stratton under the hood!
It would start on the 3rd pull every time!
