sn95 engine in a foxbody
I need some help please!! My buddy wrecked his 95 Gt and we are pulling the engine and tranny out to install in his 90 LX. the tranny is a five speed coming out of the 95Gt. he has a AOD in the 90 but wants to have a 5spd. Will the drivetrain for the SN95 fit in the foxbody. I know the bellhousing is 3/4 longer than the foxbody but can't he just get a shorter driveshaft????? Help please, somebody!!!

The transmission crossmember would be at a slightly different location too. The bellhousing is longer, and the input shaft on the T-5 is also longer. The transmission would push the crossmember back further, and that would cause the H pipe to change locations.
Basically, it could be done with some fabrication, but it will not simply bolt in. |
