![]() Just got back from the track. The weather was great for racing, maybe a little cool. And I finally got enough courage to finally try my slicks, and boy did they help
![]() i attached a picture of my timeslip, but if it doesn't show up for some reason, it was a 12.909@105.63 previous bests are in my sig, which i need to change oh yah, the mods list..... hand ported E7's gasket matched explorer intake, B-303, 1.7RR's, 3.73's, subframes, control arms, pulleys, no sway bar and some other little stuff. oh yah, and 26x10 slicks with stock axles that held up just fine ![]() This is the best day I've had in a long time. -Drew

![]() Congrats!! Gotta love those slicks
![]() I talked to a guy that runs 12.40's @ 106 in NHRA stock eliminator that uses stock (UNPORTED) heads, stock (UNPORTED) intake, stock crank, stock rods, and 19lbers. Goes to show that you've got even more et in that combo of yours ![]() Have fun! I can't wait to get to the track this year... Later Last edited by ultraflo; 04-21-2002 at 10:21 AM.. |

![]() Well I'm not gonna launch it any harder with the stock axles in there so until I get a set of Mosers (or equiv) I'll settle for a 12.90. I was launching somewhere between 3500-4000 and was 2hours from home, so needless to say I was pretty happy when nothing broke (except for my clutch cable stretching)
My motor is pretty worn too due to the no oil pressure incident last year (long story) but this summer I'll be freshening up a friends old 302 and slapping it in there. also I'm gonna be putting new carpet in it and will take all the sound deadening and rear seat out, and possibly getting all the AC stuff out of there. So hopefully with all this it could run ever stronger. Next up is the axles, then maybe some juice ![]()

![]() You cut my blistering 14.1 out of the picture. What were you thinking? He got out of the car on the return road and started jumping around waving his fist in the air. It was quite a sight.

![]() Thats an impressive 2.3 60 ft time on those ice cold SZ50's. I spun through first and wheel hopped through second. At least the wheels slipped instead of the clutch that run.
