Cam help...
Just needing some advice on which cam to go with. I have the following mods on a 92 GT:
Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, trick flow street intake, 24 # injectors, fuel pump, regulater, full exhaust, 3.55s, 70mm tb and MAF, underdrive pullies and few other little things. I plan on putting a vortech on down the road. Also i have been leaning towards the F303 but would like some other opinions. Thanks. |

I have the E303 in my car, and it doesn't mesh too well with the SN95 EEC, but I love it all the same. It has a great lopey sound, and while there is a loss in low end torque, it has MONDO top end. For myself, an F cam would be a bit much to live with, but if it isn't a daily driver, you may think otherwise. What exactly are you loking for in a cam?

From what I've seen the F-303 is very hard to match to a combo.
It's technically a blower cam, but lot's of people have bad luck with it and are disappointed. I'd go custom grind or if you wanted to stick motorsport, with the E-303. |

I love my F303. I may have a minor hesitation problem due to this cam, but I'm not too sure it wasn't my tranny.
Either way, I can live with it if it is the cam. The idle sounds sweet, the car runs stronger than any car I've ever owned, and I would buy the same cam again if I had to do it over. I plan to get a blower sometime in the future anyway ------------------ Too much to list.
