Default Slacked clutch pedal?

So i've got a new t-5 in the mail cuz mine is shot to ****, but right now when i driving around my cluthc pedal feels all screwy. It will go from having absolutely no play in it and grabbing almost all the way out to having about 3 inches of travel and grabbing almost on the floor.... any ideas on what the slack is coming from. I was planning on replacing the clutch w/ the new t-5, but i wasn't sure about getting a firewall adjuster or an aftermarket quadrant. Any suggestions?

The clutch quad and firewall adjuster will help it out. The stock one is "suppose" to automatically adjust to the ware on the clutch. I heard that if you push up ad back on the pedal (with your hand) it will readjust. I tried this and I couldn't get it to work on mine, but I have a new clutch also.
