![]() Anything is possible, but I've had my top replaced twice and I saw them use about a dozen specialized tools, none of them readily available at parts stores. It also took the coordinated efforts of several knowledgeable automotive upholsterers.
I have performed lots of machine work, but I personally didn't install my top because I wanted it to look good. It cost me $600 bucks each time with a glass curtain. Good luck.
