Default the shift to 4th dilemma..

hey, I've got 3.27 gears in my car, probably the WORST gear for my motor right now, as I run thru the 1/4 mile in 3rd at 5200 rpm..

dyno tells me that peak comes on around 4300rpm, so I'm 900 above peak, so shifting into 4th would put me back into power, but that shift will slow down my times.. (or will it?)

other than getting new gears, and eventually I will get heads/intake, what else can I do to increase my cars breathing, so that peak comes on around 4800???

thanks !
