help!
i need some help here. i have a 92 GT with over 160,000 miles on it.its completely stock except exhaust. heres the prob. its been running perfect sicne i got it over a year ago until about a week or soo ago when i let my mom drive it to work for a few days. since then it seems like it has lost ALOT of power. it has no acceleration power esp. when its hot outside. does anyone know whats up with it or how to fix it? thanks

i would say the mass air, but it really could be a lot of things, the mass air has a heated element in it that is cooled be the air passing by it, it sends a voltage reading to the computer to tell how much air is entering the engine. the first thing that i would replace would be the "INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR" (i think thats what its called) on your car its on the front of the lower intake manifold(cant remember if its on the driver or passenger side) this senses the temerature of the air entering the engine, so the car doesnt run different in different weather, cause if it was hot out, like in your situation, it would make the computer think that there was less air entering the motor, creating a lean condition, so i would replace that, its only like 5$, thats most likely your prob. GOOD LUCK
