I broke end links on my front sway, but that was after catching air, and pulling a movie stunt style jump, after i didnt know the road stopped, luckily i was planning to remove it anyways for lower 60's,
I think it protected the oil pan from being torn off, rear one seems durable on mine, (foxbody) though.
