			 looking for 70 mph rpm's..........

was set on the 3:73's but if the rpm's are'nt much higher, i may consider 4:10's.... either way, traction will be an issue... and i can always pick up a used pair slicks for about $100.....

You might turn around 2600 at 70 with 4.10's, maybe more with shorter tires, the 373's maybe 2400, i could be wrong, but it's close, my friend went from 37's to 410, and noticed little difference in e.t's, but the car launched like a mofo, and hauled bawls through 1st and 2nd, fast shifting.

for a daily driver id get 37's, although lotsa people use 410's on the street, It would be too many revs for me on the highway where i spend alot of time.

Just about 300-400 rpm difference between the two in 5th gear on a 26" tire.

I say go with the 4.10's. I just came back from a 250 mile trip about a month ago. I was doing 70mph the whole way down and saw 2500 rpm. I don't do any highway driving (except for the occasional trip every few months) so rpm's werent a big concern for me. I will tell you this...If you go with the 4.10's, PLEASE invest in some drag radials. I can launch on the street at 2500 rpm and slip the clutch with the tires only turning over once before they hook. The DR's really make a huge difference along with the gears. Whatever gear you go with, you'll love the difference

With a carbed car, the 410's are probably the way to go. I've got 373's and end up shifting into fourth at about the 1000ft. mark. I'm wishin I had 4.30's.
