BXR Intake
I have seen them mentioned in several books on mustangs that I have bought. I have never seen anyone who actually used one. I just got a book that said a stock motor with the BXR and open exhaust made over 400 hp. My guess is a typo, but it looks like an interesting intake either way. Does anyone know anything about them? It looks like their website is down (for good?)
Thanks CRD

I was looking at these intakes a long time ago. You can change the plenum size with spacers to fine tune the intake. The throtal body is mounted in front of the intake so you would have to make up you own linkage to operate the throtal. Don't forget that the distributer will be right in the way, so that will create some more custum work. I think the thing was like 800 bucks or something.
"400hp on a stock motor " What do they call stock? I don't think that they are around any more.

I think the manifold kicked *** and you could change it to fit your needs, but who's gonna buy a special offset distributor and go to all the fabricating hassle for a manifold change?? ther are easier ways to make power. great idea though.
