H pipe woes
I installed a MAC off road h pipe Friday. The only other mods are FRPP plug wires, bosch platnum plugs, and dual chamber mufflers. I have a few questions. 1. Should the h pipe come with any hardware? It came with just the pipes no clamp for the middle or anything. (it was purchased from 50resto.com)
2.My engine is running very hot, it rises to the top 3/4s of the gauge. I was having some problems with the collector leaking at the right header. I tightened it up, and I don't think that I have a leak anymore, but it's hard to tell. I was told that if it leaks were the h pipe meets the header it will super heat the header gasket. Do I still have a leak or is it something else? I was running at normal temp. up until Sunday, other than that it runs fine. Any help is greatly appreciated |
