I need to order some nitrous jettings for my Nitrous works wet plate kit.
Does anyone know what it is for the 175hp shot? Thanks Skyler

Since I feel the car has a 11.70 @ 117mph in it NA I was hoping to grab a mid 10 on a 150 shot, still a little nervous about the 175.
I have been going anywhere between 123-125mph consistant with the 150, plugs look text book perfect but I feel with some tweeking through the ole lab top and some nice cool air it has 128-130mph in it. Yesterday in the heat I did get a 11.28 @ 123.8mph, 98% hum 90 degrees Here's my slip info 1.642 60ft 4.734 330 7.281 1/8th 96.46 mph 9.459 1000ft I picked up just over .1 in my 60ft just by playing with my airbag, so more tuning should yield more. I was looking at my tires today since I marked them to see if they were spinning on the rim. Guess I need to re-install my screws they both moved just a bit.

...gettin' there
I had problems hookin' with 28x12.5 ET Streets on an 8" rim... I only made three passes on em and spun hard through first on every run... can't remember what the 60ft. times were, but they were sh!tty. I was checking out your combo... I was gonna say get some true slicks, but noticed you still run stock axles with the good stuff on the way. Slicks, I think, would put you in the 10's
And, damn!, I love that alum. wing you run... gotta get one of those next year! Very nice I only picked up close to 2 mph with the 200shot over the 150shot... 130.17 vs. 128.38 both in 90 degree weather ...so I have some more tuning to do with the 200pills, I been running it way too rich and need to back off some fuel, tried a warmer plug but still need to pull some fuel out of the PMS or run the 82 & 38 pills, a colder plug, and 900 bottle psi to start... not sure where I'm gonna go from where I'm at now, at the moment. What was your bottle pressure on the passes you made, btw??? Take care, |

Yeah after I get my rear in, should be a few weeks I may try a set of slicks, I have a set of 28" x 10.5" ET DRAGS at home, never used.
I ran 1100-1150 all day on oprevious passes, down around 900 it just doesn't feel as strong, but my 11.28 pass came with 900psi of pressure! I need a bottle heater, leaving the bottle on the trailer is OK in the hot *** weather we've been having, but when the sun goes down I'm screwed. I think I'm going to get the NX heater with auto thermo.

Rick ...big hell yeah on the NX bottle heater! I don't know if NOS improved their version, but I installed one for a buddy a couple years ago and the NX version has it beat any way you look at it.... the fact that it covers more surface area is what I liked most about it. I must say NX makes some quality stuff
Skyler ...I recall reading a thread about your low 12's, trap speeds and what not, and the fact that blew me away... you still run the heavy-*** front tires! What kinda rear tires/launch rpm were you running getting 1.6 60ft's? Have fun findin' the hook when/if you launch on spray I think low 11's are a reality in the near future for you with a little juicy-juice and a good launch (which it appears you've got covered at the moment). Later guys |
