Default Where to buy cable/quadrant combo?

I am looking to buy a Steeda cable/quadrant combo. The cheapest I can find is $120. Does anyone know a place that has it cheaper? I will accept substitutes but I want something that doesn't have a rubber bushing at the firewall. Thanks.

Bob

Bob Hanlon sells the aluminum quadrant w/adjustable cable for $79.95. He also has a plate that goes on at the firewall to minimize the flex for around $18 or so. I've got a steeda quadrant. If you want a steeda, buy hanlon's and I'll trade ya. I've dealt with steeda for 5 items and the only thing I ended up using was the quadrant. One of my worst buying experiences ever.

On a personal note, I'll never get anything from steeda ever again. If they were giving it away free, I'd buy it from somebody else.

Bob Hanlon's a great guy to deal with. Better call tomorrow, cause they'll probably be headed to Atco for NMRA on Friday.

DONT do the Steeda one.

Use the Forte one. It makes use of a stock cable (should you ever break one in the future). I used it on my Mustang:

UPR makes a pretty decent setup. If you look in the magazines they always have "special" deals that are about $10-$20 cheaper than their website prices.

I dont know whats wrong with the steeda one I had excellent service with them buying it online and the whole quadrant, cable, firewall adjuster fits perfect and works great. maybe its not that great for a high power car like darius' but i dunno.

Later,
Nick
