help with egr please
ive noticed a decrease in power. So I took my car over to my dads friends house and he pluged it into his code scanner. It told me that my egr valve is stuck open. Yesterday I took of the air intake tube that connects to the intake and started my car and it sounds like the intake is sucking in air at idle. Do you think if i replace the egr valve i will get the power back that i lost. And also is it hard to change ,, and ive looked for a new one but cant find one. Can you tell me a website that might have one.
Thanks

Replace it. I can't believe you are even able to start it, but I guess you can. Anyway, any auto parts store will have one, or you can go to FordPartsOnline.com.
Take care, ~Chris

If you can find me a block off plate for my intake, I'll give you my EGR valve. I'll even meet you somewhere to save the shipping time.
