Thanks a million for all of your help and support. I'm pretty sure mine was a carb nut too. I don't know why my cylinder wall went and my piston didn't but I'll post a picture of mine tomorrow. I had a piston that looked about like that once but it was because of an intake gasket leak that poured coolant into that cylinder. I drove it home pouring smoke and running on 7 clyinders. I was amazed it made the 10 mile trip. Thanks again
