i have run them both ways i think the tubes are a waste of money i personally think they prohibit the tire from crinkling the side wall thus causing less traction i have never had any trouble not using the tubes even at 12-15psi at the track i would suggest if you use them on your daily driver to mount them on a spare set of wheels because if you get caught in the rain with them your screwed.
