Angry this one is for the top mechanics

i just bought a New High performance AODE Called the AODE INTERCEPTER, (off of transmissioncenter.net) and i had it Installed at a transmission shop, It drives and shift great, But when I give full throtle around 30mph It just revs up to 5grand then shifts It neutrals out, SO the tranny shop changed the Lever position Sensor. TPS Sensor, still nothing , so I sent the tranny back and got another one just in case it was a bad tranny but we got the same thing , I can't figure it out, Someone told me It might be the Vehicle Speed Sensor, Please Help

If it's not stock geared you can have problems.
I'm not sure which point the computer will not work right.
You might need 4.10's for a problem, or even 2 gear sets up from stock.
But that could be it.

Did the transmission shop scan your car, or were they just guessing when they changed the mlps and tps? ACT, ACC, BOO, ECT, MAF, MLPS, OSS, TOT, TPS, and VSS are all sensors that have input signals to the transmission. What convertor are you using? Is it a lockup or non-lockup? Does your chip take the lockup out, or does it leave it alone? I dont understand the part about your chip having something to do with your gear selection. You do have a VSS with a plastic gear on it, dont you?

Lightbulb

they scanned it and the MLPS came up and the voltage was off so the changed the TPS. I think its a non-lock up and I saw this off of a level ten add in a magazine it said if you have 3:73 or higher you must reprogram your computer or the tranmission will not work right. so i bought a SUPERCHIP , (it seems that the chip didn't work) will that hypertech reprogrammer reset my gear ratio

I'm thinking that the 95 should be the same as my 94. Maybe not though. All I had to do to correct my speedometer, was get the correct driven gear. Did your speedometer seem like it was close? If the VSS was at fault, it would have given a code as well.

No I didnt have the same problem. At what speed is your speedo 6mph off? I doubt getting the right driven gear is going to fix your problem. Does it do the same thing at part throttle (almost floored) or is it only at wot?

Yes I ran that combination for almost 2 years and never experienced what youre going through. I just recently swapped the AODE out in favor of a TKO. I've got a brand new AODE and stall convertor here if youre interested!!
