Lightbulb TPS question

Alright guys and gals, this is an easy one. I dropped a whole new
motor in the car last summer by myself, but I don't know how to check
the voltage on my TPS. Can someone please tell me which contact
points to use with the voltmeter.
Thanks in advance.

The neg lead goes to black and the pos goes to green. Adjust it so it reads between .95 and .98 at idle.

I hear a lot about setting it at .95 - .98. What happens if it is set to 1.0? Just wondering.

Thanks for the info

It runs crappy because the ECM thinks you are cruising at 10 mph when in fact you are idling. Kind of like a horse feels when the rider keeps kicking it in the ribs, but there's no where for the horse to go.

Take care,
~Chris
