I think the Performer RPM is a little better intake manifold. Sounds like a good 300 rwhp combo.
I have a 302 similar to yours and my car weighs 2750 lbs. I ran mid-high 12's @ 111 on motor and radials. It is injected though. |

My 1988 GT went on this diet:
Weld wheels, aluminum heads, removed a/c, air pump, hoses, fog lights and brackets, front lower bumper support, rear bumper, no padding under the carpet, no rear seat, no front swaybar, no spare tire or jack, fiberglass hood, JAZ racing buckets. That is about all I can remember. Where are you at in Michigan? ------------------ 1988 Mustang GT 12.0 @ 122 1992 BadAzz Wrangler 1993 Explorer |

It has no rear seats, or carpet in the back, no tire or jack, no a/c, power steering, smog pump, or mufflers, fuel cell. I am not sure if it is exactly 2500 lbs. It was just a guess. What do you think it would weigh? Also no more power windows or doorlocks.
