Default Okay, i know this isnt the windsor board, but try and help me pleasE!!!

Okay, first of all thanks for atleast looking at my problem hehe

I own a 1994 mustang GT

Starting yesterday, my car will not go above 3000 RPM's.

I start out below 500 rpms (when sitting at a red light etc etc)
and then when i try to accelorate, my car WILL NOT go above 3000 rpm's and thats not even saying it stays at 3000, it will randomly go from 3000, to 2500, to 1500, back to 3000. I have no idea what this can be. My friend said it may be my fuel filter? Anyways...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
-nick

p.s.
Thanks for your help guys, i know this isnt the thread area im supposed to post motor problems in but i figured that since y'all have mustangs as well, maybe you can help ;-)
