Detailing engine bay...What to do about the ugly power steering pump?
What does everyone do to make this thing pretty? The plastic parts are all yellow and the cast aluminum is tarnished. The air conditioning condenser doesn't look too good neither. Any ideas?

heres a idea
heres what i did to my car and it looks pretty good....first the ac compressor...get rid of it....windows work better and get you a few horses...get rid of the smog pump..thats ugly too...buy yourself a set of underdrive pullies and an a/c eliminator bracket..paint the whole ps pump black or whatever color..they make special paint to cover plastic and aluminum..or take it a step farther and get a manual rack and get rid of the ps alltogether...all in all doing all that should look better and give you about 25-30 more horse...for a few hopurs of work not bad huh?

like stated you can paint the yellow housing black or something and polish the brackets... or ditch everything. its all up to you and whatever you want to do to your car.
take care, adam
