HARLAND SHARP ROCKER ARMS?
PLUNKED DOWN A CHUNK OF CHANGE FOR A SET OF HARLAND SHARP ROCKER ARMS FROM SUMMIT AND WAS WANDERING WHAT PERFORMANCE GAINS SHOULD I EXPECT AND COULD THEY SHAVE OFF 1-2 TENTHS OF A SECOND FROM MY ET.

I don't think you'll get much of a gain from roller rockers. It might increase the valve lift if you changed the ratios. Most rockers are installed for strength and reliability, however if your stock rockers are shot, it's possible you could get 1-2 tenths off. Only one way to find out. Let us know. The mph should be a better indicator of hp.

A buddy of mine recently pulled the stock 1.6 ratio rockers from his 91 Notch, and installed a set of full roller 1.7 ratio rockers. According to the G-tech, he gained 3 tenths not too mention the fact that the exhaust sound changed dramatically too! And I swear (for all you skeptics), that all this guy did was rockers! He didn't even bother changing the upper intake gasket! This mod got his stripped-down, no-accessory car down to 13.1 sec. 1/4 mile! Vehicle weighs 2950 w/driver...
