Default need help with mass air conversion

I converted my 88 stang to mass air the cheap way, I got an 89 wiring harness out of a salvage yard, and I'm using a 90 EEC, but now I can't do a running test on it, is this because of the difference in EEC's? It seems to run okay, 347, trick flow 10.5:1 pistons, trick flow track heat heads, steel crank, GT-40 intake, with lower port matched, 75mm pro-m MAF, 24 lb injectors, 65mm TB, Moroso cold air, Dynomax medium length headers, AOD w/transbrake, 9.5 stallion converter 3800 stall, aluminum driveshaft, 4.10 gears, and 28 X 10.5 Mickey T's, best time to date is 11.74@114 in the 1/4 and 7.23@94 in the 1/8. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Kenny

It sounds like its running allright if you can get it to a 11.7@114.

What is the problem?

Did you get the WHOLE wiring harness out of the 89, or just the harness for the mass air sensor?

if you used the whole computer harness and the right computer you should be able to do normal scanner testing the year of the computer is irrelevant but it sounds like it's running good.

The whole harness, it will do a key on engine off test, but it won't do a key on engine running test. The eec is out of a 1990 LX 5.0 automatic, and the harness is out of an 89 LX automatic, I don't know, I've been trying to figure that one out for five years now and just discovered this forum so I thought I would see if anyone else had any ideas, it's no big deal really, the car runs fine, other than being a little cold natured,I would just like to do a running test to see if any of the sensors are acting goofy, thanks for all your replys,

Kenny
