Lightbulb My 94 GT want tack up over 3000RPM's

When my stang hits around 3000RPM's it want tack up anymore and go. It runs Great until then... i've changed the MAF and a few other things but cnat get what the problem is. I think now its the computer in it, i'm goin to try to change that but hate to buy on eand not knwo if thats goin to fix it... if anyone can help please do so..... Thanks.....

Myself and too others here recently had the same problems. For all of us it was a faulty distributor. If you can find a used one just to swap the whole thing is the easest way. This may not be your trouble but it was ours. When you hit 3000 does the tach drop to zero? If so thats what mine would do.

Hey did that make your Gas Mileage better after u got it fixed? Mines gas mileage it Horrible and i think what evers wrong with it the reason!!!

Mine stoped at 2100. Different distributor fixed it. You may want to just change the distributor module, it's a lot cheeper. Summit has one from holly for $59.95.
