![]() Anyone have a idea on what cam I should run on a 347. Im going to run gt-40 iron heads of some type and a explorer intake. My buddy told me that I need a .325 duration at least but I think thats a little extreme.
Thanks |

![]() That sounds a lot extreme especially for the street. I would say to call comp cams and have them recommend a cam. I would go with like a f-303 or a e-303 with those heads.
Just my opinion. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |

![]() I'm running a 347 with dart jr's stage 3 and a lunati 51018 cam with crane lifters and pushrods. Let me tell you, I shift at 6800-7000 and its screams. : ). I burnt 1 of my wires and had the wrong plugs( to shallow for the darts ) and still made 279 RWHP on the dyno before porting the heads and intake.
