Default track times

A 2.1sec. 60ft. time with slicks?? How is that possible?! What are you launching at? Are you heating them up enough in the burnout? I don't know about pulling a 1.5 60ft. time with your set up though? Maybe a 1.7 or 1.6 if you're sticking real good.

Well i found that new slicks need some wear on them to hook, with my experience anyway, also go to a a vic jr. intake and you might gain about 2 mph, what cam are you running?

Another thing to take into consideration is the tire pressure you were running in the slicks. Do you remember what you were running them at?

If you ran a 12.8 with a 2.1 60 ft, you will run a high 11 with a 1.5 60ft.

You could run a low 12 with that mph though. You have the sway bar off? What kind of suspension mods do you have?

Cool

The 60ft time is the most important thing to me. If it is not good you will never know the potential of your package. The cheapest and one of the most effective things you can do is replace the front springs with either 4cyl fronts or a dedicated set of drag fronts. Followed by a set of drag struts, I use 90/10s and drive it every day. And set of skinny draglights up front. This will do a lot for 60ft times, then you can do the back of the car. Also if the slicks you used are old, they will not perform like a fresh set.
