Post supercharger upgrade(s) advice needed

95 GT 5.0 w/powerdyne (11 psi), 255LPH fuel pump, 3" pipes, all else stock. what else do i need to upgrade to take full advantage of the supercharger? i'm considering larger injectors (but how big?) also, do i need to upgrade the computer chip in any way? or anything else i haven't mentioned? please advise what you think. thanks.

Cool

Get yourself a MSD ignition box with rev control.(the factory rev limiter shuts off fuel to the injectors at a given rpm, which is not good in a blown application)

Know your fuel pressure, install a fuel pressure gauge.

Get at least 30# injectors, these will support what you have just fine.

Upgrade your mass-air meter,as the factory meter is very restrictive. This allows supercharger to work more effeciently. Also upgrade your exhaust system as your shoving in alot more air,so you want it to be able to exit easy as well.

I agree with mustanguy. The MSD 6BTM is a good piece that has served me well for years. Multisparks with the timing retard with respect to boost pressure feature makes it worth the $300 or so it costs. The MSD will cut spark to alternating cylinders at the rev limit you set, which will keep you from going lean and make your motor last longer./

To take full advantage of the blower you need some heads and intake. Stock heads and intake a very restrictive for a blower with 11# of boost.

When your Powerdyne breaks, go get yourself a real blower.

thanks for the info. can anyone tell me how big a job it is to install the MSD6BTM type ignition setup? also the mass air upgrade? do these changes cause a need to change or update the eec-iv computer system, or are the compatible? please be patient, this is my first efi car and first supercharger i've ever had. thanks.

Adding any aftermarket heads and an intake along with a 70 mm throttle body and a larger mass air meter will likely net you 100 horsepower over the blower, not to mention taking a lot of strain off that intake charge.
