Examine them closely and look for a part number that will probably start with an "E" or a "D" but a "C" is also possible. The letter denotes what decade they were made in (E=80s, D=70s, C=60s). If you email or PM me with the number I can tell you what they are.

Generally speaking youshould able to find the part # on the underside of the heads. Sometimes you can find them on top under your valve covers. NOS_Notch is right...if they're stock they'll be E7TEs. Fords part numbers are pretty easy to break down too. E7TE breaks down likes this:
E=decade...E is the 1980s 7=year in the deacade...so 1987 T=line of Ford they were built for...T is actually Ford's truck line which means the heads were originaly designed for use on trucks. The Mustang line code is a "Z". E=Engineering group...in this case "E" means engine part ------------------ 1984 1/2 GT350 (#842 Hatchback w/ T-tops), 302HO, Comp cams Xtreme Energy cam, Carter 625cfm carb, Weiand Stealth intake, MSD distributor, MSD coil, FMS 9mm wires, 1 5/8" MAC unequal shorties, 2 1/2" MAC Prochamber H-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chambers, KYBs, 16"x8" 4 lug Cobra Rs, Falken 245/45ZR16s |
