![]() Hey guys, i need some real fast help with my car. I am making a custom shift boot for the auto tranny shifter, and i need to know how to get the handle off. i cant find any set screws or anything, its ann 88 Aod 5.0. I need to get this done as fast as possible, so i can move my car. Please help!! Thanks

Move the car then modify the shifter ![]()

![]() no, its cold outside, lol. I got it in the garage, my moms 2003 gt has to go in there asap. So i really need the help. I have no idea how to get the handle/knob off. I really need it to come off too.

![]() Let me know if ur shifter is a t-handle or not.I had to remove my t-handle a while back. theres a trick to doing it.I dont remember exactly how i did it sooooooo tonight i'll go out and do a dry run on taking it off.

![]() It is a T-Handle, but dont worry about it, i already got the boot done, high quality hand- sewn *****. Ill post some pics of what i was talking about. THanks for the help tho.
